Gallows Humor! Now with Extra Guild!!

Yep, that’s right. Gallows Humor has formed a Gypsy performing guild to accompany us to our gigs at Renaissance Faires and similar events. You can expect to see a company of gypsies, including your favorite undead gypsy band at Big Bear, Escondido, and Vista faires. It’s going to be great, and we can’t wait for you folks to see it. There will be interaction in the form of psychic readings, gigs, and more. Remember, it’s not for the little childrens, we’re naughty, and young children are so tasty.

Finished doing bass parts for the album and did some vocalizations that nephew Gogu decided to keep for the album. Looking forward to finishing my part and getting the album finished.  This album is going to kill (unless you are already dead in which case you will like it even more). OPA

Percussion finished on the album!

That’s right! Percussion had been laid down for every track on the studio album. I spent half a day yesterday in studio laying down my last two tracks, one of which I managed in just one take. No one was more surprised than I. I even had time to lay a few tracks of my backing vocals. If all goes well, we will have the new album for sale at Big Bear Faire.
Its been a while since my least post, but life has been keeping me busy. I’ll try to have something video uploaded soon, but for now its back to work. Na zdrovya!

All right. As promised on Monday, or was it Sunday? Video from the Escondido Ren Faire. We filmed the 2nd weekend, several shows, and here is some of the best. Gogu and spent several hours today reviewing the rest of the raw footage, so in the next several days, we should have 4 or 5 more videos to add, plus some behind the scenes interviews shot during tear down Sunday evening.

My soul is prepared… is yours?

Alright. Friday, you kick ass this week. You have met and exceeded my expectations, and I expect more of the same from now on. Let’s review:

  • I got paid today.
  • I got all the laundry and dishes done in anticipation of Faire.
  • I learned a new recipe to make bread. OUT OF ICE CREAM. You have no idea, this changes everything.
  • Faire is tomorrow. Asses will be kicked, faces melted, children corrupted. 

So, this weekend, you have a lot to live up to. As you may have heard, last weekend was in fact, Da Bomb™. More of the same, people, more of the same.
